We’re halfway there!
15 days into the Chief Nation Step-tember Challenge, and that finish line is finally in sight!
The entire team have really got stuck in – some by going on as many as three walks a day to meet their daily target! And the benefits are really paying off. But don’t take our word for it – check out the stats for yourself…
- 4,962 miles from London to our final destination of Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi
- 9,874,000 steps would get us to Lilongwe.
- So far, we’ve walked 1,892,458 steps
- That’s the equivalent of walking from London to Sardinia!
We'd still love your support
We’re still got a while to walk, but we’re determined to get there.
It’s our commitment to the amazing charity, Think Malawi that helps break down the barriers for children gaining access to education in Malawi.
For every 10,000 steps that we cover as a team, we’ve pledged to donate £1. So, if we reach our target steps, we’ll raise £987.00.
If you’d like to join us in supporting Think Malawi, we’d appreciate any donation – big or small. Everything we raise will go a long way in supporting the lives and education of so many children.
You can also donate through Amazon Smile. Simply head to the link in the previous sentence and search for and select Think Malawi. Then, shop for your Amazon favourites as normal. For every purchase you make, Amazon will make a donation to a charity of your choice – in this case, Think Malawi!
Thank you – and keep wishing us luck!
