Format

Audience
Senior business, product, finance leaders

The story
Two of the world’s most influential payments organisations partnered with Chief Wine Officer to explore one of the compelling growth opportunities of embedded finance.
For this series of events, a global payments technology company trusted across more than 200 countries and territories joined forces with a leading financial infrastructure platform to bring their combined expertise to an audience of senior business and technical leaders across London, Paris and Germany.
The message was simple:
By 2030, PwC estimates that embedded finance will account for 15% of all European banking revenue. Market leaders are already discovering that by embedding payments and financial services directly into their platforms, they can make their software indispensable, drive customer retention, create new revenue streams, and monetise every transaction. The real-world results show clear revenue boosts of 335% and 200% from companies that have already made this leap; and with these events we sought to spread the word to leaders who need to hear it most.
Key discussion points included:
- Achieving global expansion without undue stress on time or resources
- Building a successful embedded finance go-to-market strategy
- Scaling smarter by avoiding one-size-fits-all solutions
The audience
The series was designed for cross-industry senior business and technical leaders with a hands-on stake in platform strategy, payments architecture and revenue growth. Guests included leaders from organisations actively building or scaling embedded finance capabilities; including Wise, Wix, Railsr, Yapily, ClearCourse, Sage and Cegid.
The experience
Guests were invited from our C-suite database to join three events across Europe. In London, the series launched at two Michelin-starred Trivet, one of London Bridge’s most celebrated dining destinations, for an evening of thought leadership, fine dining and an expert-led wine tasting guided by Master of Wine, Peter McCombie.
The series then continued in Paris before moving online for German- and DACH-based leaders, who joined virtually from their own offices to enjoy a curated wine-tasting experience alongside live business discussion and peer networking.
Each event was designed to create the ideal conditions for genuine conversation. Not a sales pitch, but a seat at the table where real challenges were aired and real working relationships began.
